DENVER - Initial election results show voters in the Denver, Cherry Creek, Aurora and Jefferson County school districts passed new school bond issues.
In Denver, voted agreed to a mill levy increase and an increase in school debt. Sixty-nine percent of voters said yes to the mill levy increase and 63 percent of voters said yes to the school debt increase.
In Cherry Creek, voters also passed two school bond issues increasing the mill levy and school debt. The mill levy increase was approved by 58 percent of voters and the school debt increase was approved by 55 percent of voters.
In Aurora, 54 percent of voters agreed to increasing the mill levy.
In JeffCo, 58 percent of voters said yes to a mill levy increase and 54 percent said yes to a debt increase.
