COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A Colorado College student hit a 60-foot shot at the last second to beat Southwestern University on Sunday afternoon.
With five seconds to go, Southwestern University hit a lay up to go ahead 62-61.
Ryan Milne from CC took the inbound pass, dribbled the ball just a few feet and with one second to go took the shot from the half court line and hit it.
Colorado College won their regular-season finale, 64-62.
CC was 15-10 overall and 11-4 in league play.
That puts Colorado College in second place in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. The conference tournament begins Friday.
