CASTLE ROCK, Colo. - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said a man wanted on charges of child sex assault was arrested in Highlands Ranch Wednesday.
An alert citizen called a tip into the Douglas Regional Dispatch center after spotting Joshua David Evans at his home.
Sheriff's deputies were then able to enter the home said they located Evans hiding inside.
He was taken into custody without incident and will be booked into the Douglas County Detention Facility on $100,000 bond.
According to a release, an arrest warrant was issued in April for Evans involving a case that had been under investigation since January.
Evans is charged with sex assault on a child by one in a position of trust -- victim under age 15.
