WESTMINSTER, Colo. - A driver ran a red light and caused a crash that injured a child and several other people Tuesday morning, according to Westminster Police.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Federal Boulevard at 74th Avenue.
Westminster Police investigator Cheri Spotke told 7NEWS a driver ran a red light to enter eastbound U.S. 36 and crashed into another vehicle.
The at-fault driver, a child in their car and several other people in that vehicle were injured, Spotke said.
However, she did not know the extent of the injuries.
Northbound Federal Boulevard was closed in the area for about 30 minutes during the investigation.
