DENVER - Crimestoppers is asking for the public's help to find two men who tried to lure two children into a car over the weekend.
The child enticement case occurred in Denver's Southmoor Park neighborhood on Saturday around 2:30 p.m.
The victims were walking in the area of South Glencoe Street and East Jefferson Avenue when a dirty white sedan with two black men approached them, police said.
The man in the passenger’s seat asked the victims if they would help them find their dog. The victims told them they would look for the dog while they were walking.
The driver then asked them if they would get into the vehicle and go with them to find the dog.
The victims ran home and the suspects sped off on Glencoe, with one of the men laughing, police said.
The victims said the driver was a black man in his 20s who had short curly hair. They described the passenger as a black man in his 20s with a bald head. He was wearing a gray hooded sweat jacket.
