DENVER - Two months after CenturyLink and its largest union reached a tentative contract deal, members of the Communications Workers of America District 7 have rejected the deal.
According to the Denver Post, the Communications Workers of America District 7, which represents legacy Qwest employees, voted 54 percent to 46 percent to turn down the deal on Sunday.
The pact would have covered 11,000 workers in 13 states, including about 2,000 in Colorado. CenturyLink acquired Denver-based Qwest in 2011.
