CENTENNIAL, Colo. - A mother in Centennial helped deputies arrest a man accused of child luring, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the mother called them on June 29. She said a man had contacted her 13-year-old daughter on the internet and was trying to establish a sexual relationship with the teen, sheriff's officials said.
Investigators posing as the teen said they then communicated with the man on the Internet and via text message.
Deputies said the man offered to travel from Colorado Springs to Centennial and pick up the 13-year-old girl for sexual activity.
Investigators arranged to meet the man. On Friday night at 7:30 p.m., an undercover investigator, disguised as the 13-year-old met the man and authorities arrested Benjamin Clinton Stribling, 30, on suspicion of internet luring of a child and a parole violation.
