Call it frigid February this week in Denver and Colorado; But how cold did it get?

DENVER - Many people are complaining about the frigid February temperatures this week, but just how cold did it get?

The National Weather Service in Boulder said the lowest temperature recorded in Boulder between Wednesday night and Thursday morning was -20 in Limon.

Greeley wasn't far behind with a reading of -18 at the airport. Denver International Airport recorded a temperature of -16 while the Fort Collins airport hit -11.

Colorado Springs and Centennial Airport hit -14 while Akron, on the Eastern Plains, recorded -12.

Interestingly, Leadville, at an elevation of 10,430 "only" saw a low of 3 degrees.
