THORNTON, Colo. - A busted pipe triggered a partial roof collapse at the front of a Family Dollar Store in Thornton.

The broken pipe in the roof or soffit area of the store at 831 E. 88th Ave, collected water, said Fire Marshall Chad McCollum. The water caused the front sign and some of the roof to collapse about 3:06 p.m.

McCollum said there were no injuries. The building is being checked to determine if it is still structurally sound.
