A Level 1 evacuation is voluntary and means residents should be ready to leave. People with health concerns and those who need extra time to evacuate should leave.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., firefighters said the fire was 100 percent contained.
Another fire broke out near the Coors Brewing plant in Golden Thursday afternoon. As of approximately 9:30 p.m., the fire had grown to an estimated 100 acres in size but was not threatening any structures.
Officials said a firefighter was injured while working the fire and was transported to the hospital.
The South Table Mountain Fire, as it was known Thursday evening, continued to burn on the north face of the mountain past 9 p.m. Winds shifted, pushing the fire to the west, according to an official with the Fairmount Fire Rescue department.
Fire officials the South Table Mountain Fire was at "zero percent containment."
The fire was burning about two miles away from another small fire near 32nd and McIntyre that broke out earlier in the day.
Fire officials said 32nd Avenue from McIntyre to Castle Rock Road would be closed overnight and through the day Friday because of the blaze.
Officials also added that residents in the South Table Mountain Fire may see small flare-ups overnight. Crews will be fighting the fire all night.
