The fire was burning behind the 17000 block of E. Temple and was reported "under control" at 2:25 p.m. Firefighters were still putting out hot spots at 2:35 p.m.
That's near E. Plateau Drive, just south of the reservoir, which is surrounded by homes.
There were no evacuations, as a result of the fire.
The Aurora Fire Department said there have been no injuries as a result of the fire, as of 2 p.m.
Firefighters from Aurora, Cunningham and Sable fire departments were called to fight the fire.
