Broncos playoff tickets sold out in 9 minutes Monday for AFC divisional game in Denver

Denver will play either Colts, Ravens or Bengals

DENVER - Tickets for the Denver Broncos home AFC Divisional playoff game sold out in nine minutes Monday, a spokesperson for the team told 7News.

Single-game tickets for the game to be played at Sports Authority Field at Mile High went on sale to the general public on Monday at noon.

It took less than 10 minutes to sell 5,000 tickets.

There are 23,000 season ticket accounts, and 22,000 of them elected to purchase playoff tickets in the past month.  That is why only 5,000 tickets were available for sale Monday.

Tickets were only available only to those with a billing address in the Rocky Mountain region, including Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, South Dakota and Western Kansas.

Ticket prices ranged from $60-$200 for reserved seats and $175-$425 for club seats.

The game will be played on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2:30 p.m.

Denver will face either the Indianapolis Colts, the Cincinnati Bengals or the Baltimore Ravens.

The Broncos beat the Bengals and the Ravens earlier this season.
