'Bring your own bag bandit' suspect wanted for several Aurora robberies between Dec. 14 and Jan. 8

AURORA, Colo. - Black masks are common among robbery suspects, but Aurora police are currently looking for a suspect who also brings his own black bags to his robberies.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age, 5-foot-5 and between 130-150 pounds. During the robberies he wears a black ski mask and is armed with a small black handgun in addition to the bag.

Because he brought the bag to robberies between Dec. 14 and Jan. 8, police are calling him the "Bring Your Own Bag Bandit."

The same name was given to a Wheat Ridge case in November, but that suspect was a white male who did not wear a mask.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-STOP. You can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
