Boy who told police he was 'kidnapped' is found hiding in Kohl's

AURORA, Colo. - A 12-year-old boy who called 911 to say he had been kidnapped was found hiding in a Kohl's store, Aurora Police said.

The 911 call came from the vicinity of Mission Viejo Park Thursday afternoon.

Police officers said they went to the park and found no evidence that a crime had been committed.

Police said the child's football coach saw the pre-teen walking through the park Thursday and nothing seemed amiss.

Police sent an alert to residents asking them to check their yard and vehicles for the boy.
