Boulder potty peeper sentenced to 3 years in prison after apologizing

Luke Chrisco apologizes for actions

BOULDER, Colo. - A Colorado man who hid in the tank of a portable toilet at a yoga festival to spy on women has been sentenced to three years in prison and 10 years of probation.

The sentence for 31-year-old Luke Chrisco was handed down Friday in Boulder. He pleaded guilty in July to two burglary counts and attempted unlawful sexual contact.

He will be credited for 796 days of time already served and may be released on probation in months, the Daily Camera reported.

Police arrested him in 2011 after a woman at a yoga festival in Boulder noticed something moving in the tank of the portable toilet, then saw a feces-stained man emerge and run away. Police said he also was suspected of hiding in other bathrooms around Boulder to watch women use the toilet.

The Camera reports (http://ch7ne.ws/1775adb ) that prosecutors dropped other burglary charges and a misdemeanor count of criminal invasion as part of a plea agreement.

Chrisco spoke to the court before he was sentenced.
