BOULDER, Colo. - The Boulder City Council is considering a fee to pay for street maintenance.

On Tuesday, the council will try to decide whether to levy a fee to be collected on utility bills.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera, transportation officials would like to raise somewhere between $2 million and $6 million.

The proposed fees would cost homeowners up to $80 a year and business owners up 22 cents per square foot.
