Denver Police Bomb Squad safely destroys blasting caps found at a NE Denver antique store

DENVER - The Denver Police Bomb Squad destroyed some blasting caps found in an ammunition box at a northeast Denver antique store on Friday afternoon.

No one was injured, police said.

The bomb squad was called about 12:50 p.m. to the antique store in the 5500 block of Oakland Street, police said.

Bomb squad technicians removed the blasting caps from the store and safely destroyed them, police said.
