Body found tangled in South Platte River

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Englewood police are investigating after a father and son riding their bikes along the South Platte found a body in the river Wednesday.

The father and son found the body at South Platte River Drive and West Dartmouth Avenue at 2:05 p.m., according to Sgt. Brian Cousineau with Englewood Police.

Crews arrived on scene and confirmed that there was a body of an adult male in the river that appeared to be tangled in debris. The Coroner is on scene and attempting to identify the body and determine the cause of death.
