Human remains found in Wyoming have been identified as belonging to a Colorado woman who has been missing since last year.
The Weld County Coroner confirmed the remains belong to Tera Lewandowski from Pierce.
Lewandowski disappeared in October 2015. The remains were found on April 13.
A member of a biker gang told Weld County Sheriff's Department officials he killed Lewandowski after the gang leader ordered a hit on her over an argument about drugs.
Court documents accuse Daniel "DJ" Meyer of killing Lewandowski sometime between Sept. 29 and Sept. 30.
Meyer is described in the affidavit as an "enforcer" in a gang called "21" or the "21ers." Meyer was also listed as a trustee on the Pierce Town Board.

Meyer and four other people were arrested on charges of first-degree murder: Chad Iler, Michael Vassil, Scott Hanchett and Karly Hanchett. Crystal Griffin was arrested as an accessory to murder.
Meyer agreed to lead investigators into Wyoming to find the body, but the affidavit said he was unable to pinpoint the location.
