Body found at Mossbrucker Park near Mt. Carbon Elementary School

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. - Deputies are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at a park on Monday.

The body was found along a path at Mossbrucker Park at W. Cross Avenue and S. Xenon Street in Jefferson County at 6:22 a.m.

The park is next to Mt. Carbon Elementary School. 

West Metro Fire told 7NEWS, the area is heavily traveled by students.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said its initial impression is that the man committed suicide.
