Birthday-wrapped marijuana seized by Nebraska State Patrol during traffic stop on I-80

The contents of a birthday present landed a man in jail in Nebraska over the weekend.
A Nebraska State Trooper stopped a 2012 Toyota Camry for following too closely on Saturday near the Greenwood exit of Interstate 80.
The troopers canine companion indicated that it smelled the odor of drugs coming from the vehicle.
The trooper said when they searched the car, they found a box wrapped in birthday paper in the trunk. Inside, were 13 individual packages of marijuana, officials said.
Troopers seized 29.5 pounds of marijuana and arrested Johnny C. Hatchett, 52, of California on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
