Berthoud Pass reopens after avalanche mitigation dislodged large amount of snow

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. - Berthoud Pass was closed for nearly an hour on Tuesday morning after a large amount of snow came down during avalanche mitigation work.

The Pass was closed at mile marker 242 at 8:41 a.m.

While officials said the pass would be closed for an "extended amount of time," it reopened in less than an hour.
