AURORA, Colo. – A man unassumingly walked into an Aurora Safeway Thursday evening and handed a note to a teller working at the US Bank branch inside the store.

The note the man handed to the teller demanded cash, police said. The teller obliged and the suspect fled.

Investigators did not mention whether the suspect displayed a weapon as he robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of money.

Aurora Police are now looking for the suspect, described as a white male with a heavy build who appears to be between the ages of 20-30.

Surveillance images released Friday appear to show the man, seen with a goatee and wearing a flat cap, patiently waiting in line for his turn.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Agent Mike Thrapp at 303-313-6810 or 303-472-0350. Tipsters can also call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or can submit a tip online.
