DENVER — The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown a wrinkle into the normally-routine back-to-school season. The virus outbreak is preventing many districts from starting the school year on time, and some are choosing to delay in-person learning and begin the year 100% online. While others are building the semester on a hybrid model, where students alternate between in-classroom instruction and off-campus learning.
