ABC Bachelor Ben Higgins had to be rescued from an elevator in Denver on Wednesday.
Higgins was on his first date in Denver with the woman he chose on the Bachelor, Lauren Bushnell, when he went to get his car and got stuck in an elevator, according to Entertainment Tonight.
"Thought it would be nice if she stayed warm inside while I went and grabbed the car," HIggins said on Twitter.
Bushnell posted on Snapchat that she pushed the emergency button to get help.
Denver Fire said the elevator in the parking garage stalled and confirmed that firefighters rescued Higgins.
"This is pretty routine, Denver firefighters do it all the time," Captain Greg Pixely with Denver Fire said.
Higgins tweeted, "Traumatizing! Ill never forget our first Denver date. @LaurenBushnell3 keeps laughing..."
