The Colorado State Patrol is looking for the driver of a truck that may have run over and killed a man on Pecos Street south of West 76th Avenue.

A pedestrian was lying in the southbound lanes around 7:30 p.m. Monday when he "was rolled over by a full-sized brown pickup,"  CSP said in a press release.

The driver did not stop to help the man and did not call authorities.

"It is a possibility that the driver of the pickup never saw the male lying in the roadway as the pedestrian was wearing dark-colored clothing," according to the release.

The man was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he died.

If you have information, you are asked to call State Patrol at dispatch at 303-239-4501.
