Missing Loveland man found safe in Douglas Co.; 86-year-old Kenneth Deines suffers from Alzheimer's

LOVELAND, Colo. - A missing 86-year-old man with Alzheimer's was found in Douglas County Friday, a day after he drove off from his Loveland home, authorities said.

Kenneth Deines was being evaluated AT a medical facility while family members respond to meet him there, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said.

"We believe he will be fine," sheriff's Lt. Andy Josey said in a news release.

A statewide Missing Senior Citizen Alert was issued for Deines on Thursday night after he drove away from his home that afternoon. His family reported him missing and was concerned his medical condition placed him at risk, Josey said.
