ASPEN, Colo. - Authorities are digging up a large marijuana patch discovered in the White River National Forest, about two miles south of Redstone.
A source familiar with the operation told the Aspen Times that there were thousands and thousands of plants.
A father and son hiking in the area discovered the pot patch about two weeks ago, the newspaper reported.
White River National Forest Supervisor Scott Fitzwilliams said he could not discuss the investigation.
