LOVELAND, Colo. - A severely autistic teen who was reported missing at 5 p.m. Monday has been found safe.

William James Patterson, 15, is developmentally disabled and does not talk, Loveland police said. Police were concerned he may become violent when he's frightened.

Police issued an alert for the missing boy just before 10 p.m. Monday, saying he was last seen in Loveland walking on Railroad Avenue and 10th Street.

At about 11 p.m. Loveland police told 7NEWS that he was located and was unharmed.
