AURORA, Colo. -  

Aurora police were searching for a missing 12-year-old girl late Sunday.

Aurora police spokeswoman Cassidee Carlson said police were called to an area near 17th Avenue and Alton Street.

Scanner traffic indicated the girl was in the living room and the grandmother was in the yard Sunday night.  When the grandmother came back inside, the girl was missing.  That's when police were notified.

Police released no additional information, as of late Sunday.
