Aurora Police catch bank robbery suspect with his pants down

AURORA, Colo. - Aurora Police caught a bank robbery suspect with his pants down last week.

The Aurora Police Facebook page says officers responded to a bank robbery off of Colfax Avenue. Witnesses told police the male robber had run from the bank toward a large retail store.

While other officers searched the area, Officer Mel Cobb went into the retail store and decided to check the restrooms.

Cobb entered the men's restroom and spotted a man matching the robber's description changing his pants, police said. Cobb and other officers arrested the suspect without incident.

Police said the suspect later confessed to detectives that he had committed the robbery. Officers did not name the suspect.
