ASPEN, Colo. – For one day this winter, you’ll be able to ski or snowboard at Aspen Snowmass for just $6.50.
The resort is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and is selling lift tickets for the same price they sold for when the mountain first opened in 1967: $6.50.
The ridiculously-cheap tickets are only good for one day, however: Friday, Dec. 15.
The mountain will be celebrating its anniversary the rest of the weekend, however, with Banana Days and an anniversary party the next day, and with a vintage skiing and riding day, complete with a cabin jump and rail jam on Sunday, Dec. 17.
Tickets for adults, teens and children will all cost just $6.50 that Friday however.
If you don’t have an Aspen Card, an extra $5 charge will be tacked on when you buy online.
