Arvada police search for man who robbed King Soopers store on Sheridan Boulevard

ARVADA, Colo. - Authorities in Arvada say they are searching for a man who robbed a King Soopers store Monday.

At 2:38 p.m., a man entered the King Soopers grocery store at 6350 Sheridan Blvd. and presented a note to service desk employees that stated they were being "robbed," according to the Arvada Police Department.

The store employees then opened the cash register and gave the money inside to the suspect. No weapons were seen on the man 

He then left the store and was last seen running south on Sheridan Boulevard in front of a Wendy’s restaurant. 

He was described as a white man, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a thin build and shaggy hair.

Police said the suspect was wearing a white bandana, a green and yellow shirt and blue jeans.
