AURORA, Colo. — Arapahoe County deputies are looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a bicyclist Friday.

A driver crashed into a bicyclist at the intersection of East Smokey Hill Road and South Tower Road. First responders treated the bicyclist, who was semi-conscious and breathing when deputies arrived.

Deputies described the vehicle that police are on the lookout for as an older-model white Ford Explorer with a broken windshield and Colorado plates.

A Medina Alert was initially issued for the driver of the older Ford Explorer-type vehicle but later canceled. The alert notifies any commercial driver in the larger community to report the vehicle if seen.
