DENVER - The list of Republicans planning to challenge Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper next year is growing.
Sen. Greg Brophy of Wray is the latest Republican to announce his candidacy. Brophy said easing new gun control laws and limiting government are among his top priorities.
Former Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo is also in the race. Secretary of State Scott Gessler and Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler have said they're considering running.
