ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. - A missing 10-year-old girl who had run away from a care provider was found late Saturday night, about three hours after the sheriff's office issued an alert for a missing child.
"Missing girl has been located. Thank you for the (community's) help," the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office tweeted at 10:16 p.m.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office issued the missing child bulletin around 7:30 p.m. and dispatched a team of search and rescue personnel to canvass the area where she was last seen.
A spokeswoman for the sheriff's office said they were concerned about her because she was not properly clothed for the cold weather and she is dependent on medication.
She was wearing a white Justin Bieber T-shirt and pink pajama pants with a black and white design. It's unclear if she was wearing shoes or a jacket, the sheriff's office said.
The girl was last seen around 6 p.m. in the 2100 block of South Yosemite Way.
The sheriff's office did not say where she was ultimately located.
