AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force Academy has identified two cadets charged with sexual misconduct as Jamil D. Cooks and Anthony D. Daniels Jr., both juniors.
The names were released Tuesday, a week after the academy initially announced the allegations.
Cooks faces charges of attempted sodomy, aggravated sexual assault and aggravated sexual contact. Daniels faces charges of sodomy, attempted sodomy and aggravated sexual contact.
Academy officials didn't immediately respond to a phone message seeking comment from the cadets or their attorneys.
Both cadets face hearings to determine whether they should go before a court-martial. Those hearings haven't been scheduled.
School officials first said the cadets' names wouldn't be released until the hearings, but they said Tuesday they reconsidered after media requests.
