LOVELAND, Colo. – One of the people arrested Wednesday in a pursuit that spanned two counties had 11 combined warrants for his arrest, and now faces six additional charges.

Police said Thursday that four people were arrested after the chase ended, but only two of them face new charges in the pursuit.

Jacob Joseph Dominic Gomez, 23, of Commerce City, faces new charges of aggravated robbery, vehicular eluding, criminal impersonation, possession of weapons by a previous offender, misuse of a license plate and being a habitual traffic offender.

Those charges are in addition to eight felony warrants and three misdemeanor warrants unrelated to Thursday’s crimes.

Monica J. Velarde, 20, of Commerce City, faces new aggravated robbery and two new theft charges. They come in addition to four felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant she was already wanted on.

Lupe Gonzales, 21, of Henderson, was released on a summons from an earlier theft incident, and the fourth person detained after the pursuit was released without charges, according to Loveland police.

Officers started pursuing the car in Larimer County after a robbery, but the chase went into Weld County, where deputies were eventually able to stop the car on Highway 119.

Loveland police say pictures of the suspects are not being released at this time in order to “further the criminal investigation.”
