I-70 reopened from Stratton to Burlington

BURLINGTON, Colo. - Interstate 70 has reopened in both directions from Stratton to Burlington on the Eastern Plains.

The 18-mile stretch between mile markers 419 and 437 was closed until about 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said the highway was closed, "due to adverse weather conditions."

A photo from an Azteca Colorado viewer Leo Lopez showed a thick dust storm in Burlington.
