AURORA, Colo. - An adult and infant were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Aurora Sunday afternoon.
According to Aurora police, an SUV was exiting from southbound Interstate 225 onto 17th Avenue when it collided with a small truck that was eastbound on 17th at about 5:30 p.m. The impact of the crash carried both vehicles into a concrete barrier and light pole.
An adult and infant in the SUV were killed in the crash and a second adult was treated at the scene. Two juveniles in the pick-up truck were not injured.
The initial reports of the crash do not lead investigators to suspect drugs, alcohol or speed were factors, police said.
The identities of the people killed have not yet been released.
