91-year-old man outside in the cold got confused and couldn't find way back in

LOVELAND, Colo. - Deputies believe a 91-year-old man got confused outside in the cold Monday night and died of hypothermia.

Robert Kopher was found dead outside the Sugar Valley Estates Independent Living Residences in Loveland on Tuesday.

Deputies believe Kopher got confused outside Monday night and was unable to get back inside the facility or his car.

The coroner said Kopher died of hypothermia in the extreme cold temperatures.

The coroner ruled Kopher's death an accident.
