LOVELAND, Colo. – Eight people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash just west of Interstate 25 on East Eisenhower Road in Loveland Friday afternoon. The extent of their injuries is not known.
Troopers closed the westbound lanes and are detouring traffic onto County Road north to Crossroads. Lengthy delays are expected.
Details surrounding the crash aren't clear. However, traffic cameras in the area show a large pile of debris strewn across the westbound lanes near Centerra Parkway.
The Loveland Police Department Technical Crash team responded due to the severity of the crash. Police are asking the public to avoid the area as the investigation is expected to take hours.
