Get Growing with Ollin Farms
What: The Children Museum’s monthly garden program with Ollin Farms kicks off in April. Kids and families are invited to help the farmers from Ollin Farms plant seeds and prepare WOW!’s outdoor garden for the growing season. Garden program is included with Museum admission. Free for adults and infants.

SnowDash Winter Park
What: Entering its second year SnowDash Winter Park is an adventurous 5k race that has participant’s climbing, running up hill in the snow, crawling through powder pits and darting up steep terrain. Complete with costume contests, beer, cheer and loud music is why it's quickly becoming a fan favorite among our winter events.

Teen Pop-Up Shop
What: The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver’s Teen Program: Failure Lab invites high school-age teen crafters to participate in the 2014 Teen Pop-Up Shop. They are looking for teens that make jewelry, t-shirts, bags, art, buttons, screen prints - anything creative. It is completely free to be part of the Pop-Up Shop and it’s also free for teens to attend.

Community Electronics Recycling Collection
What: E-Cycle Colorado electronic recycling collection event. Visuals will include recycling collection activities, collection trucks and bins, Republic Services, ERI and The Mountain staff, volunteers and leadership.

12th Annual Arvada Kite Festival
What: Kite flying competitors will be divided into two groups based upon age: a 10 and younger age group and an 11 and older age group. There will be four categories of competition: highest kite, smallest kite, largest kite and most visually appealing kite. It’s free to compete and trophies will be awarded to the top four winners in both age groups.

Dashing Danny & Hello, Harlot
What: The first feature, "Dashing Danny," is a comedy about a young gentleman, from a small town, looking for adventure in the big city.
