Art of Bua

What: See the world of art through the lens of Bua. Bua is internationally known for his best-selling collection of fine art. He’s recently had shows at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Pop International Gallery in New York. His energetic and vocal worldwide fan base ranges from former presidents, actors, musicians, professional athletes and dancers, to street kids and art connoisseurs.

Compleat Lifestyles 30th Anniversary Celebration

What: Celebrate this two-day event to feature book signings by local Colorado authors, product demonstrations, special discounts and drawings, food tastings and beverages, and more.

Where:  Compleat Lifestyles, 7562 and 7592 S. University Blvd., Centennial, Colo.

Wheat Ridge Kite Festival

What: Kite flying for toddlers to elders with lots of activities, free kites, music, crafts and vendors.

Where:  Anderson Park Community Gymnasium, 4355 Field St., Wheat Ridge, Colo.

When:  Saturday: 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Apex Annual Bike Rodeo

What: This event is used to educate children on how to safely navigate a bicycle.  The rodeo uses stenciled courses to enlighten and educate children. The Safety Village provides children with a “real time” street bike riding experience while navigating in a safe environment off the street.  A brain drop station will demonstrate the importance of wearing a helmet. Bike fitting and helmet fitting stations are provided to ensure that each participant starts out their ride safely.

Cherry Creek Sneak

What: Run into spring with a 10-mile, 5-mile, 3.1-mile (5k) or 7 Healthy Kids Project 1.5-mile sprint course at the 2014 Cherry Creek Sneak. There’s even a half-mile Kids’ Fun Run for kids ages 8 and under, and Diaper Dash for little ones in the Kids' Fun Zone.

Tulip Fairy & Elf Festival

What: This much beloved springtime tradition features special performances and activities for girls and boys and more than 15,000 tulips that adorn the world renowned Pearl Street Mall throughout the spring season.

Dia de los Ninos

What: Join us under Conoco Pavilion to celebrate the importance of the young people in our community at El Dia De Los Ninos.
