African American State Park Day

What: Join us for this grass roots project honoring the contributions African Americans have made in forming Colorado's state park system. The free events include fishing lessons, Eagle Express rides, archery lessons and pontoon boat tours of Barr Lake State Park.

Summer Blastoff Concert

What: Come kickoff your summer and celebrate the grand opening of the improved amphitheater with a free concert featuring the amazing Eagles tribute band The Long Run. Live music, pyrotechnics, children’s activities and great food are just some of the things you will find at this event.

Arvada Trails Day

What: Arvada Trails Day features nature exhibits, live animal presentations, eco-friendly activities, resource conservation exhibits, free hotdogs and frozen yogurt, and information about Arvada’s 125 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails.  Majestic View Nature Center, 7030 Garrison Street & Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge, W. 80th Ave. just east of Kipling Street. A free shuttle will run between the two sites.

What: This is a one of a kind event in Colorado Springs and is geared towards bringing the community together with lots of fun, learning and to celebrate the beauty of the African Diaspora.

What:  A celebration of Denver's diverse urban community, the Capitol Hill People's Fair is a great weekend of entertainment with events, activities and attractions suitable for all the entire family. As one of the leading arts and crafts events in the region, visitors have the opportunity to buy all manner of wonderful creations from homemade cakes and jams to individually designed jewelry or one-off paintings. There's also a full entertainment program which includes live music, street theatre, children's acts and other attractions.
