S. Federal Blvd. open again after investigation

DENVER - Six schools were taken off lockdown after SWAT situation on S. Federal Blvd. in Denver Monday morning.

Police said they got a tip that the man who escaped from the Denver City Jail, Felix Dino Trujillo, was barricaded inside an apartment on S. Federal, between W. Cornell Ave. and W. Dartmouth Ave.

The lockdowns have been lifted for all affected schools: Southwest Early College, Summit Academy, DSST at College View Middle School, College View Elementary, Gust Elementary and Abraham Lincoln High School.

Three people were arrested on unrelated charges.
