THORNTON, Colo. - A 5th grade teacher at Hunters Glen Elementary School in Thornton was arrested Wednesday on two child abuse charges.
Thornton police spokesman Matt Barnes said 61-year-old Christine Wright Holley was accused of slapping the hand of a boy and pushing a girl hard enough that the girl fell.
She was arrested Thursday morning on a summons accusing her of two counts of misdemeanor child abuse, Barnes said.
The Hunters Glen school website identifies her as Dr. Christine Holley, a music teacher.
