1. 5th anniversary of Aurora movie theater shooting
We remember the victims and heroes of the tragic shooting that took the lives of 12 and injured 70 during a midnight screening of Batman movie 'The Dark Knight Rises' inside theater 9 at an Aurora theater July 20, 2012.

2. Betsy DeVos speaks at state Capitol
Education Secretary Betsy DeVos will appear today at a conservative conference in Denver at the state Capitol. Denver7 anticipates bringing her speech live on Facebook and on thedenverchannel.com.

3. Slightly cooler today
There will be a gradual trend toward more storms on the eastern plains on Thursday. The increase in clouds will help to keep temperatures a few degrees cooler.
