DENVER – Good morning, everyone! Here’s what you need to know today on Friday, October 6.

1. Denver Action Plan launch
The City of Denver will launch its Vision Zero Action Plan at 8 a.m. this Friday. The action plan is aimed at eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries on Denver's roadways by 2030 through a specific set of tactical actions and increased cross-departmental coordination.

2. Pajamas for Puerto Rico
Kids at Samuels Elementary Schools are being allowed to wear their pajamas if they bring a dollar for hurricane relief efforts. 

3. Tom Petty tribute in Denver
There will be a Tom Petty Tribute on Friday at 6pm at the Lake House at Cherry Creek.
