GUNNISON, Colo. (AP) — Authorities in southwestern Colorado have arrested a third person as they investigate a 2015 killing that they believe was part of an attempt to gain control of a family ranch.
The Gunnison County Sheriff's Office says 34-year-old David Jackson was arrested without incident Tuesday on several charges, the most serious of which are accessory to first-degree murder and tampering with the body of 29-year-old Jacob Millison.
Millison's 68-year-old mother and his 33-year-old sister have been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. Officers serving a search warrant found Millison's remains in July.
Booking documents do not indicate if the three suspects have hired an attorney.
